Hi
I am trying to start the Configuration Manager Proxy on a sun solaris 10 server. When i try to start it i get the error
./StartConfigManagerProxyExerciser: javaw: not found
I have also tried starting a Refection X Manager session, and exporting the DISPLAY variable to my Desktop, but i still get the same error
any help would be greatly appreciated |

Sounds like the 'javaw' executable is not on your path OR the ammended path used by the script that invokes it.
which javaw
may help
Just a thought. Did you invoke the mqsiprofile script before trying to run this command? Does (for example) mqsilist work? _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Hi
the user that is running the command has the /opt/mqsi/bin/mqsiprofile entries in its .profile. When i run mqsilist, i get the proper response listing the broker and the configmgr.
When i do a which javaw i get nothing returned.
I also did a find for javaw under the /opt/mqsi directory and its subdirectories but still could not find the file |

The mqsilist command doesn't use Java (at least it doesn't in v6.x), so it won't look for javaw.
As smdavies99 said, you still need to configure Java in your environment separately. |
