BIP8074E: Unable to create a JVM.
A Java Virtual Machine could not be created.
Ensure that the Java CLASSPATH variable is correct and that it is not too large, ensure that the Java runtime executable (JRE) shipped with the product is in its correct directory.

The above is the error that i am getting when i try to create the default configuration in WMB. My broker and toolkit version is 6.1.0.4

I didn't updated any java versions recently also.

I have done a Custom Installation not an Express Installation. If Custom Installation, do i need to specify any jre paths ?

My Class Path is like this

C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\Java\lib\com.ibm.mqjms.jar;C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\Java\lib\com.ibm.mq.jar;.;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\java\db2java.zip;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\java\db2jcc.jar;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\java\sqlj.zip;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\java\db2jcc_license_cu.jar;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\bin;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\java\common.jar

Do i need to add any java path, which will solve my problem

Probably unwise to do a Custom installation - especially if you get problems afterwards! So an option is to go for the standard installation.

Try opening a Message Broker Command Console, and checking the java version;

MQSI 6.1.0.4
C:\Program Files\IBM\MQSI\6.1

C:\Program Files\IBM\MQSI\6.1>java -version
java version "1.5.0"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build pwi32dev-20081129a (SR9-
0 ))
IBM J9 VM (build 2.3, J2RE 1.5.0 IBM J9 2.3 Windows XP x86-32 j9vmwi3223-2008112
9 (JIT enabled)
J9VM - 20081126_26240_lHdSMr
JIT - 20081112_1511ifx1_r8
GC - 200811_07)
JCL - 20081129

C:\Program Files\IBM\MQSI\6.1>

All my java paths are in my PATH variable.
