Not a very clearly worded question, but I would suggest looking at support pac IH03. |

bujjisveeru: if you are asking if you can perform tests on WMQ after installation, qmgr and object creation, without writing your own applications, the answer is yes. IBM provides a variety of IVPs (Installation Verification Procedures) demonstrate WMQ functionality.
Take a look at the WMQ Quick Beginnings manual for your platform. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Its very much true as all said.
But I must ask.. 'whats your objective per se' ?
As if you said..'without going thru application'.. then I would say you can take help of other Tools that allow you to contact with MQ and Its Objects.(locally and/or remotely).
But if you go with a tool/utility say IH03, then its again an application thats given to test MQ features (say put/get/close/purge etc etc.).
As bruce2359 said, you can have a look at following pdf for IVP.
"amqtac05_WMQv6-QuickBeginnings-x86_win.pdf" _________________ *Life will beat you down, you need to decide to fight back or leave it. |

What do you want to test?
Is it MQ startup, connectivity, application functionality, platform capability, stress volumes to name but a few? |
