Hi,

Recently I am facing a strange problem to connect to a DB2 database from a compute node using DSN, though I am able to check the connection successfully using the DSN from Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Data Sources

Message Broker 6.1.0.7
Environment windows XP
DB2 9.1

I am using IBM DB2 ODBC DRIVER - DB2LOCAL for the DSN and run the mqsisetdbparms command to register the DSN.

Error I am facing :
Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 127 (IBM DB2 ODBC DRIVER - DB2LOCAL).

Could not figure out whether its the installation problem of DB2 or I am missing something.
Please help.

Did you add it to the list of System DSN's ?

This is a common mistake.
