Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've run this install on 3 different machines successfully and ran into the following error while trying it on a 4th machine. The error occurs after installing the base and applying fixpack 6.0.2.4 when I try to run the Prepare WebSphere MQ Wizard.
"An unexpected error has occured while validating the security credentials of user 'DOMAIN\userloggedontomachine"

Not addressing the issue directly (sorry) but why use a GUI to set up by hand when you can store your definitions in a script and text file and run these into the system in one shot? Just asking

Welcome to the world of Windows.

Ask your Windows administrator why the 4th machine can't valididate the user id against the domain controller like the other 3 could. Then, after he's gone "erm" a few times & suggested you reboot the machine to see if that helps, install the fixpack as the local administrator.
There are any number of posts on this forum about WMQ & domain user ids. I've seen similar problems using DB2 with domain users. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
