Hi Guys,
I am wondering if there is anyway to know connection handles on a remote queue. I can't rely on the relevant xmitq queue since there are so many apps using it.
Also, recently I had to change one remote queue definition to point to a different queue, I asked the app team to stop their jvms before I made the change. Is there anyway to avoid this in V6? I remember bumping into application handle error back in 5.3 when I did it without stopping the app.

Thanks,

It think you mean "object handles" on an open queue. "connection handles" only apply to queue managers. Remote Queue objects are like an "alias" to a Local Queue that sits on a remote queue manager. When you open one, the process count and object handle refers to the associated Transmission Queue.
