Hi Guys,
I am wondering if there is anyway to know connection handles on a remote queue. I can't rely on the relevant xmitq queue since there are so many apps using it.
Also, recently I had to change one remote queue definition to point to a different queue, I asked the app team to stop their jvms before I made the change. Is there anyway to avoid this in V6? I remember bumping into application handle error back in 5.3 when I did it without stopping the app.
Thanks, |

It think you mean "object handles" on an open queue. "connection handles" only apply to queue managers. Remote Queue objects are like an "alias" to a Local Queue that sits on a remote queue manager. When you open one, the process count and object handle refers to the associated Transmission Queue. _________________ Glenn |
