I got a request for an MQ client installation along with Pub-Sub and Application Message Interface.
I done the complete server installation for it so as to complete the Pub-Sub and Application Message Interface installation.
But the client is still complaing that the Application Message Interface installation is not done.
How to check the Application Message Interface installation? |

How did you install it? Manually, or using the amtInstall utility? Did you try running one of the sample applications? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Since the customer is asking for only the client installation along with Pub-Sub and Application Message Interface; I've installed the MQ server so that it has all the components such as the Pub-Sub and Application Message Interface in it.
But still they are not able to find the AMI installed; since the libamt files are still missing. |

Again, what exactly do you mean by:

I'm guessing you mean that you have only installed WMQ.
The installation manual of the MA0F SupportPac states two methods of installation, manual (unpacking the tar file and setting the path for the runtime environment, samples and java) or using the installation utility (requires setting the path for the samples and java). So, which is it you did? Have you even installed the SupportPac? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

No you haven't as the AMI is a SupportPac!
You consistently do not answer questions when they are posed to you:

A.

Your answer has taken you three posts to provide the information that you haven't actually installed the SupportPac, and then express surprise that the client cannot find the AMI libraries - did you think that the SupportPac might just install itself by a process of osmosis? No, I'll revise the question: did you even think?
This thread is on a par with most of your others, rambling, obfuscated, and confusing for anyone attempting to assist you. Get the SupportPac, and if you have problems downloading it contact your IBM rep and get him/her on the case, get it installed, and stop wasting other people's time. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

I am relieved you figured out how to work the web browser and download the software. This skill will assist in so many ways with your next issue. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
