Hello Folks,
We are having a strange issue. Here is the scenario, we are having a main flow

MQINPUTQ ---> Compute(propagate to subflow) ---> Compute2.....

SubFlow

Input --> BuildHTTPRequest --> HTTPRequest --> Output

From the main flow, we are propagating the message to a subflow which calls a webservice. Once after the subflow calls the webservice through HTTPRequest, we do not see any response and the control is getting back the main flow, instead of going to Output Node. We do not see any errors aswell

If we have a Subflow in this fashion:

Input --> BuildHTTPRequest -->HTTPRequest -->Compute3 -->Output

If we have an additional compute node after the HTTPRequest we are able to see the response in Compute3. Within Compute3 we are just copying entire message. Couldn't understand if we are missing any configuration. Within HTTPRequest we are selecting Generate default HTTP headers from the Input.

we noticed that this kind of behaviour is happening only if we propagate, If we have the subflow inline with the main flow, we are getting proper responses.

Thank you,
Kiran

How is the compute node propagating to the subflow?

If its propagating to the subflow without entering its input node, when the subflow reaches its output node, it wont know where to return to.

Running a user trace will allow you to see exactly whats happening when the flow is executed.

Hi,
It is propagating to the subflow through Input node itself.

If I have the subflow
Input --> BuildHTTPRequest --> HTTPRequest --> Output
format I am not getting any response back from HTTPRequest and I immediatly get the control back to main flow without any error

If I have the subflow
Input --> BuildHTTPRequest -->HTTPRequest -->Compute3 -->Output
format I am getting the response back. The only difference from above subflow is I have an extra compute node after HTTPRequest. All i am doing in the compute is just CopyEntireMsg()

The UserTrace is not of much help..I do not see any errors..

Thank you,
Kiran
