I am not sure whether MB 6.1 works with MQ7? The requirement docs says, mq6.0 is required. However, it may be because by the time of mb6.1 came out, MQ 7 has not come up. Has any one implement mb6.1 with MQ7? |

We would like to take the opportunity of multi instance queue manager feature of the MQ7.0.1.0 but I am not sure whether someone has done the POC on that yet. |

Because the PubSub engine that is native in MQ v7 is not compatible with Message Broker v6.1. You can use one or the other, but not both on the same queue manager, nor necessarily in the same pub/sub topology. |

Sorry. I did not answer that question in my previous post. We would like to use the MQ7 not for pub-sub but for multi instance queue manager feature of the MQ7. |

Cheers Jeff, I didnt know that. FWIW, previously i've always use message broker for doing pub sub as that seemed to be part of its reason d'etre. From some of the previous comments on the forum though, I guess id better get used to using the MQ pub sub engine
Are there plans to make this co-exist with the broker on the same QM or can you not say? |

I encourage you to review the definition of the new SELTYPE parameter added in MQ v7.0.1. |
