Hi All ,

I am doing a test on MQ ver 6.0.0.0 . stopped the MQ queue manager chaged the number of primary and secondary log files from the MQ explorer.

Started the queue manager from the command line .

IT is running fine and expandable in the MQ explorer too .

Registry is also showing the changed log values.

But under directory structure PrgroamFIles/IBM/WEbMQ/log/queuemanagername/active

I still see only 3 logs files . I chaged the value to 10 for both primary and secondary logs.

I think so too. The primary log files will be created at once when the queue maanger is created. The secondary log files, however, are created on demand, when required.

Thanks

We're not talking about when the QM is created, but changing them after the fact.
