MB - 6.1 Fix Pack : 3
Runtime - AIX

We have a requirement to update the clear case version of the artifact (.msgflow/.msgset etc) on the version field of the same.
We do not have triggers to support keyword substitution in Clear Case. So at present the option of automatic keyword substitution is not available.
Build automation with ant/maven etc are also not an option at this point.

We could manually update the version field using the clearcase version. However, when that is checked in, it would create another version. Thus it creates a kind of catch 22 situation. We could go ahead and enter the incremented version before checking in but I am not comfortable with that approach.

I even had a look at trying to set it ont he bar file level but the field is not available as a configurable property. Thus I am guessing that the mqsiapplybaroverride is also not going to work.

Any thoughts on this would be great. I am not sure if I am missing anything.
