I'm working on setting up SSL between our Config Manager and broker toolkit. I was reading the redbook and came across this:
The Key database type is important. Make sure that you create a JKS key
repository. This is because the Toolkit is a WebSphere MQ Java client,
which uses JKS repositories by default.

Is it possible to use a kdb instead of jks or is that my only option? The reason I would like to do this is we currently have our kdb setup for rfhutil and I would prefer not to have to setup both for each user.

rfhutil is certainly not a java program, so it can use the kdb files,
for java you need the JKS file.

Ok, thanks. That's actually a pretty obvious answer! I just have one more question - is there a secure way to save the jks password? I see that stash is not an option and adding the line to wmbt.ini does not seem very secure.
