Hi All,

When I use the command DISPLAY CHSTATUS(*), I was getting the sender channel status of both myside as well as the destinatin channel status.

But when tried to check the status now using the above command I get only the status of my sender channel and not that of the destination channel. The channels are also up as I am getting both COA and COD.

Is there any option through which I can hide the destination channel status being displayed.

Do suggest me.

regards,
Vasu

The Only thing you need to keep in mind is

dis chs(*), if the sender side is in running state, then everything is ok.

If the channel is in retrying or starting state or stopped state , then you need to check the error logs and take the required decision.

Ping channel will tell you whether the listener on the other side is active or not even though the channel is not in running state.

Not necessary to check receiver side every time.

If the channel is in retrying state, just keep an eye on Sequece Number which should match on both the sides. If they are not matching then reset the seq num on both sides of the channel and restart them.
