Hello,

I am trying to install the 6.1.0-WS-MB-WinIA32-FP0004.exe fixpack in a silent mode.

On this page:

IBM mentions that, for the silent install, one should use the following flags: -options-record or -options-template, neither of these 2 options generates the response file. The command that I'm trying to run is:

6.1.0-WS-MB-WinIA32-FP0004.exe -options-template c:\temp\response_FP0004.txt


On the other hand, the readme link above mentions a more detailed document for the installation:

In this document there is a table (#18 at page 92) where the installer part should be setup.exe (the name difference is obvious here - maybe this is the reason the response file is not generated ?)

Sorry, it seems I was looking in the wrong documents.. I found here:

, chapter "Installing service on Windows" what I needed. (basically you need to use an "-a" before the other arguments)
