Guys,
I am applying MQ fixpack 6.0.2.7 on AIX queue manager with MQ at 6.0.2.0.
I stopped all the Queue managers on the server. I am getting installation failed due to MQ managers running.
I see no queue managers or listeners running.
I tried cleaning the shared memory resources and Iam getting the below error.
Failed to get subpool primary extent(/var/mqm/qmgrs/nohup.out/shem/shm.0) shmId( -1) rc(536895769))
Failed to get subpool primary extent(/var/mqm/qmgrs/nohup.out/@ipcc/shmem/shm.0) shmId( -1) rc(536895769)
Failed to get subpool primary extent(/var/mqm/qmgrs/nohup.out/@qmpersist/shmem/shm.0) shmId( -1) rc(536895769)
Let me know your inputs.
Thanks |

I am getting below error during installation
You seem to have an MQ queue manager still running.
You must stop all MQ processing, and stop the Queue
Manager(s) by using the endmqm command before trying to
install/update/delete the MQ product.
update: Failed while executing the mqm.txclient.rte.pre_u script.
same error repeated for all components (server,cleint..etc).
I cleaned shared memory and ipcs resources. |

I think the install script is parsing "nohup.out" in the /var/mqm/qmgrs directory as being a queue manager. Delete this file and the problem should go away. _________________ Glenn |
