Hello folks,

Do you know any tool that may help exporting MQ queue definitions to JMS definitions?

We had an application with 100+ queues, but using MQ Base Java libs.

We are porting it to run under WAS/JMS and I noticed that every remote and local queue needs to be defined.

It will be practical to look up the webadmin scripting language (IIRC jacl).
You can then create the script and execute it as many times as needed.

Beware, some Destination attributes take precedence over JMS coding.
Make sure you define your destination with application defined persistence, if you want to give to the application the responsibility of message persistency.

Have fun
