I posted this on the ListServer too, but no replies.... anyway, my client is using Microsoft's ADAM as an enterprise LDAP, and I want
the Directory Services support guy to extend the schema in ADAM to
support MQ / JMS.

As far as I know (as an MQ guy) I only need an Object Definition, with
these attributes: hostId (required), Channel (required) Queue
(required) QM Name (optional) Port (optional).

But my DS support guy says he needs "much more" than this (but cannot
articulate what "much more" is). If anyone out there is using ADAM (or even AD) to hold managed objects for MQ / JMS, and then could tell me exactly everything that I need to know to extend the LDAP schema for MQ / JMS, I would be thrilled.... just a simple sample would be helpful!

Depends a lot on the use you are planning for ADAM. It you're planning to use ADAM as JNDI provider you will need to pass the initialized CF class and stuff... If you are planning to use ADAM as authorization you will need to have the principals and possibly add it to the authentications routines of the OS....

Have fun
