I have also tried doing promote property, it doesn't show up in message flow level or in node level at bat file. |

The server directory is merely the first place that the FTP process with CD to after it logs in.
If you specify full paths in your Destination or the other directory locations, then you don't need to worry about Server Directory. |

Thanks for you response mqjeff,
My question is that I want to set FTP -> Server direcotry at bar file level , which I don't see it in bar file configurable properties. How can I achive this?.
I am deploying the bar file in different servers, each flow would ftp the output files in different server directories. I feel it would be convenient if I could set this at bar file level and deploy it , as an example file name.
Can you please help me.. |

I have had this requirement before and been informed by IBM support that the ftp server directory is not a configurable property.
However, I think the following means that you could configure it at a broker level which might meet your requirement?

The configurable service definition for the FTP server includes the remoteDirectory property. You can use that instead of a configurable property on the flow to configure the server directory. |
This is a quote from the end of this thread: http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=48083 |
