Hi Guys,

We are migrating from MQv6 to MQ v7 on Solaris box.
When I checked the prerequisites, it says for solaris 10 introduces the concept of zone to the OS.

When I run th ecommand project -l to see if any project assigned for group mqm, I don't find any. I see projects with different names other than MQ.

Now when I to migrate to MQ version 7, do I need to ask Unix admin to create a project group.mqm?

Depends entirely on how zones are being used (if at all) on your Solaris and if so, which of the possible configurations you plan to use to install WMQ.
