Hi,

We had an issue, where message flow additional instances were being created at run time to handle the load of messages from the applications. But sometimes AIX5.3 was not able to support those many threads to handle the load. IBM gave a solution to upgrade the XLC files in those servers by 9.0.0.3 version.
Do you got any idea what those XLC Files do ? and Who creates them (I think this is internal to IBM..but still curious)? What does it contain ?

Hi,

xlC/xlC++ runtime libraries is V9.0.0.3 is listed within the
System Requirements for WebSphere Message Broker V6.1 for AIX

So you should have installed it from the beginning.
