Hi,
I need to install MQ Broker silently.. According to some legal terms, one needs to install first the 6.1 MQ Broker (main product) and then to apply the patch.

I was able to install the main product using -silent option, specifying a response file. Now, if I install the fixpack in silent mode as well, should I use a response file as well ? Or is it intelligent enough to know how to install over the main product (without a response file) ?

Have anybody faced this problem before ?

You should use the response file to apply 6104 silently.
