Hi I am new to this WBIMB. I have read about this RCD node, n Iknow that whichever opotions u choose in the properties of then node, those fields get reset.
I want to know the purpose of RCD node beyond this. Why this node is used in a Message Flow when u can just use a compute node and write an ESQL code to do the computation.

MB as a whole Software package have given you a lot of options/nodes/ even programming too [ESQL/JAVA]
As a developer or designer you have to think about the performance, quality and lot more what ever it comes in SDLC.
from my point of view, i wont use RCD, as i know how to get it done the same using ESQL[Compute] or using Java [JCN] Nodes. what i will think of here is to minimize the number of nodes in my flow.
There are lot of good recomendations and more, there is no problem in using RCD node, its easy to use and verify.
