Hi Guys,

I have searched in the forum haven't found any and thought of posting as a new topic...here is my requirement.

We pick the message from a queue and call a stored procedure, sometimes the stored proc takes a long time to return back...can we use the timer nodes to time out the message flow? is it possible? any developer works on it? can i use Java compute node in the worst case scenario to implement that?

Awesome !! i will try to implement in the same way, but wondering can we achieve the same using timer nodes..is it possible?

Timer nodes in my understanding is for triggering message flows and not for "timing out" transactions/message flows.
