We are having this huge hetrogeneous system with AIX, HP-UX, OS390 etc operating systems.
On one of our production Queue Manager, we found out that for about 100 of Local queues, we have CLWLUSEQ() set as CLWLUSEQ(169).
I suppose for Local queues, this attribute must not be harmful..???
Can somebody help us knowing the reason for a numeric value for this clustering attribute, which can have only 3 values as 'ANY', 'LOCAL', 'QMGR'.
Pls help, as it is in our production environment. |

What tool are you using to display this?

For non-clustered queues it's ignored.

I would imagine the queue manager(s) concerned were migrated from a previous version. Possibly using a dubious method. Are all the queues displaying this hosted on z/OS by any chance?

If you're not experiencing any problems why are you worried? If you are experiencing problems, what problems and why not just correct the value? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

This QMGR is a HP-UX QMGR which was migrated from HP-UX 11.0 to 11.i
2 -3 years back and since then the queues are set like CLWLUSEQ(169).
Since then we have several updgrades on the server.
Pls suggest something. |

Well, if I read the posts referenced by Peter correctly, the suggestion was made that you create a script to fix this and run it. Did you? What was the effect?
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
