Let me rephrase my earlier question to some more basic.

With an RFH2/JMS publication, a response is sent back to the SYSTEM.JMS.REPORT.QUEUE on the local qmgr, if I understand correctly. However, if the publication is RFH1 is there a similar response queue it should send a response to or is it application specific?

Is the publication node expecting a replyToQ to send a response in all cases? If so, I should then assume that if a publication message is also marked as a datagram with no replyToQ defined, then I should expect the response to go to the system DLQ?

I'm pouring through the IBM literature on WMB 6 and Pub/Sub and just not finding any reference on this. If someone could confirm or refute my assumptions, I would greatly appreciate it.
