I have an application that is using MQI interface to put/get messages on queue. I have 10 sessions aka queue manager & queue handles that are each putting/getting and committing messages in local unit of work.
queue manager is opened with MQCNO_HANDLE_SHARE_BLOCK option.
I see once in a while commit operation is crashing with segmentation fault? Has anyone run into this problem? |

The server crashes? The qmgr crashes? The application crashes?
If it's the server, what o/s? Look at the o/s error logs for more info.
It's the qmgr, look at the qmgrs error logs for more info. Did an FDC get created? If so, what error do you see?
What maintenance have you applied to mq?
If it's the application, did mq produce a ReasonCode? If so, what was it?
Any information will help diagnose the underlying problem. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Found the problem. Another thread was invalidating the connection handle. |
