Hi,
We recently faced an issue with the auto defined cluster channels b/w two PR queue manager. an application at pr qmgr A was putting messge to a cluster queue physically present at PR qmgr B.
Cluster auto defined SDR Channel TO.B starts retrying due to the target queue was not accepting the message as message size was greater then then MAXMSGL of the Cluster queue. later we come to know that the Cluster RCVR channel TO.B at PR qmgr B was stopped
kindly note that Target qmgr B is with some othe vendor and we doubt that this channel was stopped by qmgr B MQ team knowingly to avoid the message to go in their DLQ?
can anybody explain Why the the Channel TO.B stopped automatically at qmgr B or it was an manually stopped at qmgr B?
Cheers,
Aditya |

If the message size exceeded the MAXMSGL of the target queue, it probably exceeded the MAXMSGL of the dead letter queue. Assuming there was a DLQ. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Do we do that ? (Instead of finding the solution why msg is on DLQ as DLQ header says all)

You can check with them OR monitoring logs to see who did that by identifying its login id. _________________ *Life will beat you down, you need to decide to fight back or leave it. |

Try actually reading the post: '...and we doubt that this channel was stopped by qmgr B MQ team knowingly...' _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Thats what I meant to say... We dont do that and it was because of the reason(s) "that was given by Vitor" actually. _________________ *Life will beat you down, you need to decide to fight back or leave it. |
