I have the mq client on one machine and queue managers on another two machines. I know that I cannot to more than one QMgr, but I have heard that there is a possibility that QMgr may be configured as a proxy.
So I would send messages from my client (C) to first queue manager (QM1) only via one queue (Q1) and when I send via antoher queue (Q2) the message is sent to QM2 via QM1
C --- (Q1) --> QM1
C --- (Q2) --> QM1 -->QM2
Of course I want to achieve it without development. Do you know whether such a scenario is possible?
1. Search on this site regarding connecting a client to more than one queue manager.
2. If the client opens a QREMOTE in QM1, and that QREMOTE and its dependent objects are configured to send a message to QM2, your message will reach QM2.
3. See 1. above.
C --- (Q1 [QLOCAL]) --> QM1
C --- (Q2 [QREMOTE]) --> QM2 _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys.
