Hi,

When i was browsing, i found that there is a sample Application available for CICS MQ and it comes as a part of MQ Installation. But just wanted to know, whether does it also involve triggering along with MQ CICS, as MQ CICS Triggering is my requirement.

I can see from the queue definition that it involves Initiation Queue in its Queue Definition Parameters. So Just want to make sure whether it solves my purpose .

I've no idea (even I can't remember which z/OS sample does what!) but CICS triggering is no different in concept to triggering on distributed platforms (except using EVERY is more acceptable).

So if the sample app is using the structures you expect you'll be fine.

Also (like much of the z/OS) you'll probably need the assistance of the sys prog to get the trigger monitor (CKTI) running.
