Hello
I'm trying to install message broker using setup "Message Broker for Multiplatform 6.1.0.2" and on the second screen I get this Error:
Quote: |
You must have Administrator privileges on Windows or be the root user on Unix to run this installer.
Errors occurred. Select Cancel and correct the errors displayed on the preceding panels before relaunching this wizard. |
And I am the admin as well. Any ideas?

On what? WinXP? Win2000? Win2003? Vista? Some flavour of Unix?
I'll assume Windows; have you tried installing as Administrator, rather than just a user id with admin rights? Is it the local admin, or a domain admin (the latter often has problems). On Vista, in addition to any admin rights, are you using "run as administrator"?
For completness, on any Unix you install as root or it doesn't install. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
