HI GUYS, I'm new LINUX RED HAT SCRIPTING..
I want to browse a message on Queue Manager A and put the same one on Queue Manager B.
I know this can be achieved using tool called MQ Visual Edit.
2 queues are in different queue managers then do the following:
- Open the source queue and highlight the messages to be copied.
- Click File -> Backup Queue
- Input a directory and name for the VEQ file and click OK
- Now open the target queue.
- Click File -> Restore Queue
- Select the saved VEQ file (from above step) and click OK
- Voila. Messages copied.
But
I want this to be implemented in script/configuration (on linux) based solution.
