Hello, all,
I'm working with WID v6.2.0.1(+iFix02) and trying to build a mediation module for WESB in order to interact with SAP.
In inbound scenario(SAP->WID/WESB), I know an inbound listener is responsible for linking a request from SAP with an appropriate target in WESB(Ex. mediation flow).
Although I'm reading the product documentation again and again, I'm still not sure about the architecture of the listener.
Followings are several questions I'd like to clarify.
I would appreciate it if someone could give me some comments.
1.
Is the listener a separate module in WESB, for example, MDB or something?
2.
Do I need to administrate the listener separately from mediation modules?
Can I start/stop the listener separately from the mediation modules?
3.
Who and when starts the listener?
4.
Can I monitor the listener in the administration console if it's running or not?
5.
Can multiple listener work at the same "RFC destination" in SAP?
6.
Can one listener receive mutiple interface types, for example, ALE and BAPI?
Or do I need to configure two listeners, for example, one is for ALE and the other one is for BAPI, which will also result in requiring SAP side to define two "RFC destinations" ?
Many thanks in advance,
Cheers, |
