Hi,

We downloaded and configured Heartbeat 2.1.4 and successfully test with httpd service.
We installed and configured MQ also. MQ was running fine on node1, but when we try to start the Queue Manager from
other node, we were getting an error message saying Queue Manager not available. Please see the below details how we
configured file system and MQ.

Created filesystem /MQHA and mounted, it can be seen from the both nodes.
Downloaded ic91 and ftped to Linux box.
created tmp directory under /MQHA
Extracted the files to /MQHA/bin directory
Created /MQHA/STGBRK01/data and /MQHA/STGBRK01/log file system
Created the Queue Manager with hacrtmqm script
Started the Queue Manager
Created only one Queue, did not created any channels or listener
Able to put the messages using amqsput command
Stopped the Queue Manager.
On the Node2, we executed the halinkmqm script with the parameters provided by hacrtmqm successfully.
When we run dspmq nothing was displayed on node2.
When we started Queue Manager with strmqm , we got Queue Manager not available response.

The only different thing I did was mount point. I mounted filsystem as /MQHA does this cause any problem or am I missing any thing.
Please help me out.
Thanks in advance,
Chandra.

WMQ version? What HA software, e.g. Veritas etc.? Any errors in the logs? Any FDC's cut? More information will help us to help you.

... Did you move the disk from system 1 to system 2 before you ran halinkmqm?

I have configured HA sucessfully on Linux using heart beat. I forgot to copy the mqs.ini file to the second node, and unmount the file system on node one before start working on node2.

Thanks for the advise.

Chandra.
