I'm new to MQ series.
We are applying patches to OS and i need MQClient to be down before patching.
Can any one tell me how to shutdown MQClient on a Windows Machine from Command line.
I also need to know how to bring MQClient back up after patching and what all need to be verified after MQClient is back up.
Thanks in advance,

The MQ Client is not an executeable.
It is a set of libraries. |

Jeff,
thanks for the info.
to be more clear in my case.
JBoss is running on this windows machine.
After JBoss is down,
can you tell me whether do i need to bring down anything from MQ side?
Thanks,

If, as previously stated, MQ Client is a set of libraries not an executable what do you think will be running after you shut down the application?
More specifically, what does the documentation on the upgrade say needs to be done? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Don't forget to apply maintenance to WMQ Client too. |
