Hi,
I have installed on my computer (Windows XP) IBM MQ v6 and IBM Message Broker 6.
DB2 runtime client was also installed successfully (there was no error during installation).
I am trying to create default configuration and I am getting the error below.
How can I work around this problem?
I am a new to this software so detailed instructions would be great.
Code:
Creating the database [DEFBKDB6] for the default broker.
Status ERROR: com.ibm.etools.mft.eou code=0 Could not create the database.
Collected output from task >

BIP9836S: The DB2 batch command has failed when creating the database 'DEFBKDB6'.
The output file from the DB2 batch command does not exist. All preceding steps have been rolled back.
Please check that DB2/DB2 RunTime Client has been installed correctly.

Proves very little. How have you tested it? Does it respond outside the installer? Have you met the pre-requisites given here? Specifically what database are you trying to use for the broker, and have you tested the ODBC?

You'll find the link shown above useful. You'll find some formal training even more useful. This is not the easiest software to pick up. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
