Hi all
Another query on a MQSeries support pac. I am trying to test the suppac MA0P (MQSeries FTP Client) on win/NT machine.
I have a default queue manager.
When I run the MQFTP.exe, it gives the following message and stops with mqftp> prompt.
From here I need to access a remote machine to get a remote file and put the data on a local queue and vice versa also i.e. get a message from a local queue and put it into a remote file.
For this I need to connect to a remote machine. I am not able to connect to a remote machine.
Can any help me in telling me the exact command syntax for connecting to a remote host?
Any tips of way to proceed further will be helpful.
Thanks in advance.
Rgds

RTFM, the docs that come with mqftp are reasonably detailed including examples.

Hi
I have read the docs & pdf's that come with the support pac. But none of them give the command syntax for connecting to a remote host from the mqftp> prompt.
Any one who has tried the supp pac on win /NT, plz help.
Rgds

I don't get it.
Page 2 of the pdf:

mqconn QueueManagerName
mqopen QueueName
|
or from the middle of page 2 (if you want a remote ftp server)
Sorry for the sarcasm, but .....
