Hi All,
We are using WBIMB6.0 and we got a requirement to integrate to SAP system.I never used this.
Could some one help how to start with this.
1. Do we have to but the SAP Adpater for WBIMB.
2. Can we make any custom adapter using java.

You can do both or you can also expose the SAP transaction as a web-service (do check your SAP licensing/costs - usually the adapter is the cheapest way to go as who wants to write/maintain SAP integration code)...
