Hi
I am facing a problem. I have a test case that connects to MQSeries on OS390 and puts data in a queue(JAVA API) and another case which gets (JAVA API)the data from the Queue.
Now it so happens that if i send ASCII data and do a get on the Queue it is OK. But if i send EBCDIC data what I get back is Junk.
can anybody help me on this

Thanks in Advance

You have to use the MQMD->FORMAT, and set it to MQSTR, and in MQGMO->OPTIONS add MQGMO_CONVERT.

That shoud do the trick, anyway it works for me, using other APIs.

Just my $0.02
