Hey guys,

I am working on a project were WBI Adapter FrameWork(2.6) and WBI Message Broker(6.0) are used as Middleware for communication with SAP and other systems. Our SAP application team is upgrading SAP ECC 5.0 to 6.0 unicode version.

As expected, we see lot of IDOC segment definitons updated with the latest version. I mean when you generate Busniess Objects using ODA, it generates them with the version number in the name of the BO's example E2EDL2002 etc.. which in the latest version being E2EDL2003.

So this is impacting Message Flows were in which we need to manually update the ESQL code references to the new segment names.

So just though of sharing the information with you guys and see if anyone had this similar issue and how was it handled? Did IBM publish any procedures to handle this?

Thanks in Advance.

Hi,

I have been searching if WBIA mySap.com adapter version 6.0.0.9 support both SAP ECC 4.7 and SAP ECC 6.0 and with which JCO version? But I have not managed to find any documentation.

Does anyone have experience are changes required to the message flows when using different SAP versions?

Marko
