Hi All,
I have created the Broker Components.
But facing trouble while creating the domain connection "Could not connect to queue manager 'QM' (MQ reason code 2195)"
Here for me the connections are fine, listener, QM are in running state.
Even i tried using command prompt
C:\Program Files\IBM\MQSI\6.1>mqsicreateexecutiongroup -n cfgParameterFileName -p 1616 -q QM -b Broker -e default -v trace.txt

And this is the log at Event Viewer:
[A communications error for TCP/IP occurred.

An unexpected error occurred in communications.

The return code from the TCP/IP (ioctlsocket) call was 10038 (X'2736'). Record these values and tell the systems administrator.]

Could anybody please help me out for this.

Thanks in Advance

Does broker and configuration manager exists on same machine ??

Do they share a common queue manager or not ??

Are you able to ping all the systems from all involved i.e. toolkit to broker to configuration manager... all across in all directions ?

Hi Akanksha,
Yeah both the components are exist on the same queue manager and all resides on the same local system.

And moreover what i did was.. I have removed the components and try to work with distribution queing between two queuemangers as to find where the problem was...even the distribution is not working in local system
The error in event viewer was
[Error on receive from host localhost (127.0.0.1).

An error occurred receiving data from localhost (127.0.0.1) over TCP/IP. This may be due to a communications failure.

The return code from the TCP/IP (recv) call was 10054 (X'2746'). Record these values and tell the systems administrator.]

I have tried with unistall and installation of MQ, but of no use
I have a doubt can we change any regedit and try with installation again.

Can you please suggest

Thanks in Advance

Have you checked the channel in Mq is started,

See what channel are you using and see if the port number assigend in the domain connection is same as the Listner port number to Queue Manager.

Default Channel: SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG

I have checked everything and MQ side is everyting fine..is in running state(listener and channel).
I specified the parameter for domain connections(port and QueueManager and the default channel: SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG)
But giving as 2195 error (MQRC_UNEXPECTED_ERROR)

So i have tried with installing again MQ but no solution..still failing with the same error even though after installation... and also i tried with basic distribution communcation it also didn't work..we need to go far upto creating domain connection..basic communication between QM is not worknig
I hope after installation will there be any old backup still exist..because with installation the fresh new connecions and logs should be created.

Can anybody please suggest
Thanks

If you're getting a 2195 there should be a matching FDC file. This could provide useful information.
