Hi Everyone,
We support several message flows for a client that uses a Sybase version 8 Database and have been running using WMB 6.0 without issue. When we updated our Dev region to WMB 6.1 we are no longer able to connect using the same driver we were using in WMB 6.0. I was wondering if anyone is currently connecting to a Sybase v8.0 DB from WMB 6.1? If so, what driver are you using? I realize that WMB 6.x only supports Sybase DB v12, but our client is unable to upgrade at this time, so we are looking for a solution in the meantime. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Carlos |

are you using 64 bit ODBC configuration file to connect,
Please check the environment variables, and find out where it is pointing right now. _________________ Regards

Gaya,
We are using the 32 bit ODBC configuration file for both the 6.0 and 6.1 brokers for this particular database. We are able to get the 6.0 broker to connect to the Sybase SQL Anywhere DB, but not the 6.1 broker. At this point we realize that Sybase SQL Anywhere v8 or any other version are not supported for the broker, so we are looking into the options available to get our client off that DB. |
