hi,

When I'm trying to start my queue manager its showing the below error:

Error Code 49 starting Queue Manager Websphere MQ service

The service was unable to start Queue Manager. The error message reported was as follows: Websphere MQ Queue Manager “ABC” ending.

Use Websphere MQ services to investigate why the service could not begin. If recovery for this service is active, MQ will attempt to recover.

working on Windows Server 2000 and Websphere MQ 5.3.

FDC's? Anything else in the error logs?

Sound advice. The Windows Event Log may be helpful as well.
