I have read the previous discussions about 2035 problems with report messages.
I am getting a 2035 error and report messages put to DLQ on my AIX MQ hub. I understand this is because the qmgr tries to put the report message to the OS390 remote reply queue and uses the userId from the MQMD for verification (which fails).

We have lots of different applications passing messages in a hub & spoke setup. They all use different userIds. Is there any way round using report options for expired messages without defining all the possible userids on the hub systems? Can we force the qmgr to use mqm when it puts these messages? If we did not use pass_identity_context would that work?

Thanks for all your help and expertise.
Vicky

Does anyone have any tricks for handling MQRO_EXPIRATION with messages in a hub & spoke architecture?
