Top of this page, in the Info Centre, with the rest of the documentation. 
If you're new to mainframes generally you'll need to pick up a lot of different skills - z/OS is a very different OS to Windows or Unix & the way WMQ works reflects that. Not in the use so much, as in the administration.
There's a discussion in this section somewhere about what a newbie needs to learn; a search will probably turn it up. Things like CICS, JCL, DASD & RACF are probably at the top of the list. Also ensure you have the sys prog for your site on side - as a bare minimum you'll need him to tell you the HLQ & CPF he's used for your WMQ installation.

work? Do you mean MQ programming, or MQ administration, or how MQ actually functions on z/OS ?
