Hi Guys,

Does anyone has try to start more than 2 instances of the same shared svrconn channels?

We are trying to use shared svrconn for HA in Zos environment and we are unable to start more than 2 connections when using the generic IP address. All other connection refuse to start and ended with MQRC 2059 (MQRC_Q_MGR_NOT_AVAILABLE), after over 1 minute. We can start as many instance of that svrconn when accessing a specific CHIN and QMGR.

We also have the following message in AMQERR01.LOG

05/05/09 10:40:09 - Process(1159414.1) User(mqm) Program(mqsc)
AMQ9259: Connection timed out from host '10.242.131.1'.

EXPLANATION:
A connection from host '10.242.131.1' over TCP/IP timed out.
ACTION:
Check to see why data was not received in the expected time. Correct the
problem. Reconnect the channel, or wait for a retrying channel to reconnect
itself.
