I hit this error on 5.3 CDS9 Windows machine.

mqrc amq6211

545284625 0x20806211 xecX_E_SUBPOOL_INVALID

The problem is, I don't find any decent info on AMQ 6211.

I tryed to find from 5.3 Information Center documentation, 6.0 online ibm documentation and searching from mqseries.net and ibm sites.

Is there any place where to find what xecX_E_SUBPOOL_INVALID or AMQ6211 means?

It means CSD 9 is a bad, unstable version of WMQ. You should be on CSD 11 at least.

You also can't find any information on it because WMQv5.3 is out of support. So there's no support for it.

Move to WMQv6 or better still v7.

Moved to General Support section. Because we don't have a "Rhyme Of The Ancient Version" section.

Until today I assumed this site is not owned by IBM.

I was refering to the lack of documentation or other answers found by the poster during the searches performed (for which the poster is to be applauded btw). I assume you (given your signature) have a copy of the v5.3 docs locally and can fill this gap?

I feel I offered "support" in the form of advice to upgrade to CSD 11; CSD 9 is a horrible version. I also stand by my advice to move to a supported version is valid, as this will dramatically increase the amount of published material available and allow the poster (in a situation like this where the error appears to be undocumented) to raise a PMR. Either to answer the problem, or revise the documentation.

This site is not owned by IBM, and Vitor is not an employee of IBM.

But IBM doesn't provide any support for v5.3, and neither does this site.

That is not to say that we ignore questions about v5.3 or 5.2 or 5.2 or 2.1. Rather, we focus our efforts on current versions; and encourage the user community to move to current versions.
