Hi,
We are upgrading or MQ to version 7 fix pack 1 from version 5.3. The environment is Windows 2003.
We intend to do the upgrade on servers one server at a time. So we upgarded one of the servers to MQ 7. So our MQ Cluster has this server QM under version 7 and other server QMs under 5.3.
Under the version 7 MQ Explorer look at the current QM and other QMs on older version , we cannot see the shared cluster queues. But under version 5.3 explorer (running on the other servers), we can see the shared cluster queues in all the QMs including the version 7 QM.
Then we tried rfhutils.exe (for version 7) and this utility also cannot see the clusters queues from other servers.
Pl help

Remember a partial repository will only "see" or display a cluster queue after the first usage it made of it. Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

so, you will able to see cluster queues on v7 queue manager once you send messages to cluster queues from this queue manager. _________________ Regards

And bear in mind that the first boxes to be upgraded should be the FR's. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
