I have upgraded the MB from 6.0 to 6.1 and also DB2 from 8.1 to 9.1. When I try to migrate the components from 6.0 I am getting following error.
$ mqsimigratecomponents XXXBR1
BIP8849I: Broker 'XXXBR1' (Version 6.0) with Queue Manager 'RMSBRQM1' and Data Source 'XXXMBDB' specified for migration.
BIP8040E: Unable to connect to the database.
BIP2321E: Database error: ODBC return code '-1'.
The message broker encountered an error whilst executing a database operation. The ODBC return code was '-1'. See the following messages for information obtained from the database pertaining to this error.
Use the following messages to determine the cause of the error. This is likely to be such things as incorrect datasource or table names. Then correct either the database or message broker configuration.
BIP2322E: Database error: SQL State ''IM003''; Native Error Code '0'; Error Text ''[DataDirect][ODBC lib] Specified driver could not be loaded''.
The error has the following diagnostic information: SQL State ''IM003'' SQL Native Error Code '0' SQL Error Text ''[DataDirect][ODBC lib] Specified driver could not be loaded''
This message may be accompanied by other messages describing the effect on the message broker itself. Use the reason identified in this message with the accompanying messages to determine the cause of the error.
BIP8851S: Migration Failed
One of the migration steps failed, please see messages above for more details.
I am able to connect to the database without ODBC driver. This is my OBDC driver.

Did you follow the instructions for upgrading the DB2 Databases from V8.1/2 to V9.1 before trying to migrate the Broker bits? _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

Please Refer to the DB2 9.1 Documentation. This will detail the exact steps you need to follow:-
There is a whole section on Database Migration. _________________ WMQ User since 1999
