Broker version 6.0 on Z linux
my message flow uses httpinput node to accept SOAP requests. I convert the SOAP request into a MQ message and drop it on a queue. I noticed that the puttime and putdate fields in MQMD are created from creation time value in Properties folder of the request. The creation time gets its value from the time when the flow was deployed (or started). Is this the designed behavior? I was expecting the creation time to be the time when the message was received on the node?
Anyways I treid to change the value iof creation time using the CURRENT_TIMESTAMP function. I could see the value changed in the debugger but then puttime and putdate fields were not created in MQMD.

I tried the same thing on new 6.1 broker (we are in the process of migration) but got the same results. I need suggestions on how to get the current timestamp in MQMD. Also do I need to open a PMR to fix the creation time value of the request?

Cheers,

Hello. The creation time problem was fixed recently under a PMR (but I can't remember the number). If you raise a PMR for this you should be able to obtain the fix...

Regards,

mgk,
We created a PMR for this issue as suggested and got a response from IBM that they were unable to find any information about a fix or even a reported issue like the one that I had described.
Can you please check and see if you can find the PMR that you thought fixed this?

Cheers,

Hello.

I found the APAR number, it is IZ39312. You should be able to request this, let me know if you have problems...

Kind Regards,
