Hi guys , I have made a WTX map which is giving the desired result.

But when i put it in the Flow

FileInput -->RCD --> WTXmap

here RCD converts the BLOB to MRM and i get the proper result after RCD node...But when it passes thru the WTXmap i gives the following error

Hi
I changed the Audit path as it was incorrect.
In this case as well flow doesnt work but there is a change in Exception

Please pass BLOB to WTX map instead of a MRM. A map only understands a byte stream of data. Do note that if you do not pass the correct CCSID and Encoding [Populated in the properties tree], Message Broker will not be able to interpret the output of a WTX map.

I have a made the Map according to the MRM that i get and the Map works fine when i execute it independently.

Is there any other solution to this ....

Have you tried what Harish was suggesting? Did it work? What was the error you got on that?

MRM is Broker Lingo. For WTX it is all just a byte stream of data. If the map works fine in standalone mode and not in conjunction with broker, one of the reasons could be incorrect/missing CCSID and Encoding. Please set these values before passing to the WTX Map Node.

Here the Map is not created whereas the map was created successfully when i passed the MRM input (Please refer to the previous user trace)....

Here for the blob input i have not specified any CCSID and Encoding.../

what could be the problem here..... and if possible cab you please tell me wht would be the CCSID and Encoding....

hi i added the CCSID and Encoding

Code:

SET OutputRoot.Properties.CodedCharSetId = 437;
            SET OutputRoot.Properties.Encoding = 546;


the flow makes the correct MRM after RCD but it doesnt create the MRM after the WTX node....

what else can be done here....please help

I noticed the following text in the error message "One or more inputs was invalid". Does the message structure/data comply with what the map is expecting?

hi bhumulas,

i dont think we can specify MRM as input to the map. we can configure the output propperties of the map.

Although the map is built successfully ( refer user trace ) when MRM is the input. It fails at the output of the map.

If i were in this situation i would do this.

1. Is the map able to pass back any data back to the Broker? [Create a dummy output card saying "hello"] and check whether the output terminal shows "hello"
2. Is the map able to take an input from the broker? Same as above but on Input card.
3. At what point does the map fail if the above two steps are fine [You enable Map Trace for this one]
4. Get someone to really review what i am doing and not doing. Does the same thing happen on their machine as well?
5. Add a trace node to both the terminals of the WTX Plugin Node to see what comes back from WTX.
6. If i can prove that theoretically everything is correct, talk to IBM via the PMR Channel.

hi
i tried map trace and i get my map properly.
following are the config at output property of WTX Node

Mesage Domain - XMLNSC
CCSID - 819
Encoding - 546

but there is no output ....
any idea why this is happening
